The app is called “Texas Legal.” When it is downloaded, enter the same login and password that you use on TexasBar.com. Select the Texas or Federal statutes, codes and rules (listed below) that you want on your device and download them. You can also download all of them if you want.

Our APP is FREE to all MEMBERS of Computer & Technology Section! Section membership is only $25.00 per year.

This is how to Join and Get the App

Log into the State Bar of Texas website –TexasBar.Com. Go to “MyBar Page.” In the list to the left, you’ll see “View or Purchase my Sections.” Click that link then select the Computer & Technology Section.

It may take a day or two for the State Bar to update their database. Once you show as a member of our Section, download the app from the Google Play Store or Apple’s App Store.

iOS/iPhone/iPad

  1. Open iTunes on your device
  2. Search “Texas Bar Legal” or click here to download

Android

  1. Go to the Google Play store on the device
  2. Search for “Texas Bar Legal” or click here to download

Web Version: A web version can be accessed at http://webapp.sbot.org. Sign in with your username (bar number) and password (TexasBar.com Password).

How to Authenticate the App

  • Open that app on your Apple or Android Device
  • Click the “+” button (top center left)
  • Click “Sign In”
  • Fill in your username (bar number) and password the the State Bar (TexasBar.com).
