{ Forensics and E-Discovery }

The Section maintains a library of online resources relating to Electronic Discovery and Computer Forensics.  Click HERE for access.

{ Sign Up for 'Tech Tips' }

If you are a member of the Computer & Technology Section and you are not receiving the periodic e-mail newsletter 'Tech Tips', sign up in the 'Mailroom'. (About 10% of the email addresses we get are incorrect.) If you have any tips or suggestions for 'Tech Tips' let us know.

Also, check out the Tech Tips Archive.

{Free Case Digests}

State Bar members can now subscribe to summaries of new Texas cases at no charge. The "Case Digest" service distributes free weekly summaries of the latest Texas cases via email. Elect to receive summaries for cases in all 29 Practice Areas, or only those you specify. Best of all, the summaries link to the full-text court opinions, so you're only a mouse click away from the actual case! Finally, take advantage of the online Digest archives to search for specific summaries, read them online, or download them for later viewing. Sign up for a free subscription

{ Computer Law Review and Technology Journal }

The Computer Law Review and Technology Journal is published three times a year as a cooperative venture between the Dedman School of Law at Southern Methodist University and the Computer and Technology Section. As its title suggests, the Journal publishes scholarly articles concerning all the ways in which the law intersects with computers and technology. Section members are invited to submit articles to be considered for publication.  Manuscripts can be sent in either of the following ways: (1) by e-mailing them in Word or WordPerfect format to the Editor-in-Chief; or (2) by mailing them to Editor-in-Chief, Computer Law Review and Technology Journal, Dedman School of Law, Southern Methodist University, P.O. Box 750116, Dallas, Texas 75275-0116. (Please send both hard copy and a disk.) For information on the Journal's editorial guidelines, visit the Journal's website.

PRO BONO: Every lawyer, regardless of professional prominence or professional workload, should find time to participate in or otherwise support the provision of legal services to the disadvantaged. The provision of free legal services to those unable to pay reasonable fees is a moral obligation of each lawyer as well as the profession generally. Click here to find out how you can help.
